“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”

― W.B. Yeats

Alessandro is of German Italian descent, currently residing in London. Shoots both on film and digital.

His photographic work is driven by a fascination for light and the exploration of consciousness through meditation. He developed a keen eye for light and its inexhaustable nuances in the city of Florence, Tuscany, documenting the dynamic shadows of the buildings and people of Florence, particularly during the golden hour. At the same time he began taking yoga classes that naturally led into meditation. Through the practice of meditation he learned that entering different states of consciousness can enhance perception of everyday spaces. This has led him to investigate the use of the photographic form to express transformations of consciousness. His intentions are to catalyse changes in consciousness, in order to illuminate our interconnection with the spaces we inhabit.
